





HOPSCOTCH'S HOUSE RULES
Hopscotch’s Playplace, LLC strives to ensure a positive play experience for all children.
HP requires that all participants abide by the following rules that will assist in providing a
safe environment for all our guests. Visitors who put themselves and others at risk by
violating these rules may be asked to leave immediately without warning.
a. This is a shoe-free facility. We advise only “grippy” socks or no socks at all for
children and adults within the play area.
b. No party will be admitted with more than 4 children per adult.
c. Children must be supervised by adult age 18 or older.
d. Attending adult must ensure their child(ren) refrain from engaging in unsafe
play (such as climbing up slide).
e. ALL children are the responsibility of their parent/guardian while visiting the
playplace. Children may NOT be dropped off or left with another adult for any
reason.
f. Gum chewing is not permitted in the facility. Please properly dispose of it before
entering.
g. If necessary, Hopscotch’s reserves the right to refuse admission.
h. Hopscotch’s reserves to the right to expel any visitor(s) who violates or fails to
adhere to the stated rules and regulations. Refunds will not be honored in
these cases.
i. Aggressive play, rough play, and/or bullying will absolutely NOT be tolerated.
j. ONLY children ages 2 ½ years and younger are permitted to use equipment in
the infant and toddler room.
k. Jumping onto or off of equipment is not permitted, (with the exception of
applicable equipment such as a bounce house).
l. In the event that your child’s diaper needs changing during your play time,
please use the facilities provided in the restroom.
m. Children ages 7 and over are not permitted to use the play area equipment,
however, may engage in approved activities in the art/snack area.
Other Suggestions and Gestures of Courtesy
a. Please advise our staff of any medical conditions that may compromise your
child’s ability to use equipment fully.
b. As you play, please be mindful of babies, small children, and visitors with
physical limitations.
c. Please report any broken items to a HP attendant.
d. To reduce the risk of illness to visitors and staff, we KINDLY request that you
and persons in your party are fever free for at least 24 hours before visiting
HP. If you or anyone in your party has been ill, please be mindful that small
babies and other at risk populations may be visiting the playplace as well.
